Blending Witching Hour was my first real experience of Patchouli. I was trying to dupe a candle that was discontinued years ago and when I googled the notes, I was surprised to find that it was almost entirely made up of this earthy ingredient. I had really only heard of Patchouli in a dismissive context, as if it was not at all desirable at all. So imagine my surprise when burning this for the first time, discovering that, when blended with a little cinnamon for warmth and vanilla for sweetness, it is the most intoxicating home fragrance.

Witching Hour is the ultimate Autumnal scent for those who lean away from the foodie candles that are so popular at this time of year. If you are looking for sweet and spicy but not so much pumpkin latte and donuts, THIS is for you.

We use Coconut Soy wax for a few reasons. Paraffin has been largely demonised in the candle making community over the past decade or so and while we don't neccessarily agree with that assessment, there is evidence to suggest that soy gives a cleaner burn. Coconut wax is even softer which gives a longer burn time because of its low melt point. We're confident our blend is the most luxurious we can offer.

Our shipping materials are eco friendly and recycled/recyclable where possible. We minimise any single use plastic and you will find biodegradable packaging peanuts securing your fragile items
